1. 1. Who we are?
   We are on the one hand

2. 2. QR code scanning and camera access
   This App requires camera access permission for scanning QR codes.
   
   By default, this camera access permission must be granted by you before it can be accessed. Once the permission or consent has been given, it can be revoked or disabled by you at any time in the settings of your device. Please note that the revoking of such permission might impact the proper functioning of the App and Web Portal.
   
   Our App will never access your photos and camera access will only be utilized during the QR code scanning process. The App will not send data captured by the camera to the cloud, nor does it store data captured by the camera on our servers. The App will only store the textual content of the QR code (if it’s a valid QR code) for security reasons.

   Our App and Web Portal do not collect or use cookies. This means that when you use our App and Web Portal, we do not track your online behavior, store information on your device, or access any personal data through cookies.
4. 4. What information do we collect?
   We do not collect any personal data from our users. We want to emphasize that our App and Web Portal are designed solely for informational and educational purposes. This means that we do not collect any information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.
   
   As a result, ELIA does not seek to collect personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, or genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.
   
   Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not have any information to use. We respect your privacy and are committed to providing a secure, private, and enjoyable experience in our App and Web Portal.

   We do not share your information with any third parties.
6. 6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
   We keep our Privacy Policy under regular review to reflect any (potential) legislative or regulatory changes.
   
   This version was last updated on 23 October 2023. It may change and if it does, these changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you when you next start the App or visit the Web Portal, to the extent required by law.
